Rosemary
Rosemary is best known as a condiment in Mediterranean cuisine. But it also has a symbolic value:
rosemary stands for love. Before myrtle became fashionable, men presented the lady of their choice with a sprig of
rosemary. Just like Shakespeare's Ophelia tied a
rosemary wreath for her Hamlet ... Due to its high proportion of essential oils and its invigorating effect,
rosemary should only be used sparingly as a spice and in tea.
