Beet sugar
Beet sugar is the German or European dependency on cane sugar and is therefore used the most here. Chemically, it is similar to cane sugar, because both types of sugar are sucrose. It is obtained from the juice of the sugar beet, which is thickened until sugar crystals form. The beet contains up to 22 percent sugar.
