The history of Beach Motel
Especially for the relaxed lifestyle hotels Beach Motel directly on the North Sea and Baltic Sea beaches of St. Peter Ording & Heiligenhafen, we have created this fruity herbal tea with Honeybush, Mango, Tulsi. The story of our exclusive organic herbal tea specialty Beach Motel began with the friendship of hotelier Jens Sroka with samova founder Esin. Jens, originally a private customer of samova, got to know us in our first tea lounge on the sixth floor of the stilwerk design center in Hamburg. A little later, he presented our tea brand for the first time as part of his hotel concept StrandGut Resort in St. Peter-Ording, which he developed and managed together with his brother Joern. When Jens then opened his first very own hotel brand Beach Motel a few dune kilometers away in 2013, samova could not be missing here either, of course. Another Beach Motel followed a few years later in Heiligenhafen. For the development of the tea blend, we held a workshop with special representatives of the Beach Motel team: Esin and samova Master-Tea-Jay Errol researched the concept of the house and the requirements "at the guest". The result was a fruity herbal tea blend that, with its exotic ingredients of mango, tulsi and honeybush, is reminiscent of a trip to distant beaches and, with its distinct fruity note, can also be used perfectly as a base for tea cocktails. Beach Motel, the tea, was born! The variety became a hit, and more and more fans wished that the exclusive specialty could also be bought outside the two Beach Motels. And this wish came true: Now the Special Edition Beach Motel is finally available in our online store.The history of the samova Suite
After the cooperation between Beach Motel and samova went well for years, Jens and Esin thought about where the "journey" of their partnership should go. After the Beach Motel in St. Peter-Ording, Jens wanted to transfer this product, which worked wonderfully, to the Baltic Sea and then chose the Beach Motel Heiligenhafen as the new destination. During the construction phase, he asked Esin: "Gee, don't we want to implement a suite together?".
He knew that samova was a partner who lived for it and who also wanted to do it. "That is not a matter of course. We were very happy that we had samova by our side and that you are also open to such things," says Jens today in retrospect. "And we are happy that we have managed to do something together again. So that your brand here has the Baltic Sea view and we in turn can tell a story and offer our guests something special."
