From the traditional to the
modern tea culture in Korea

Hey, dear friends of modern tea culture! Drinking tea has many different meanings around the world. Our modern times are characterized by a fast pace, which everyone reading this article is probably very familiar with. Creating time and space for yourself, in which you can distance yourself from the stress of everyday life, is therefore becoming increasingly important.

A fast-paced lifestyle has also established itself in Korea, which is why conscious breaks for regeneration are becoming increasingly essential there too. In this context, I wondered about the significance and role of drinking tea in Korea's traditional culture, how this tradition has changed over time and how it is now practiced in modern times.

To find answers to these questions, I first set out to discover the traditional way of drinking tea, which I would like to share with you in the following lines.
